Photographs are how we can know about the life and culture of olden days of Shikoku and the Seto Inland Sea. These photographs were taken by Mr. Tokuharu Takahashi (who passed away in 2014 at the age of 91). Since the early 50’s, he had photographed nature, culture, traditions, life, towns and villages, and the railways of Shikoku and the Seto Inland Sea as his life's work.
